Hi guys- I've uploaded the files we need to complete for this week's assignment.

Some background info

I added some content to the KWL chart. If you edit it, just save and upload the revised copy.

Do we have to complete two NARA documents, for each photo?

Hey guys. Glad to be back with you both for another week! I think that we should probably do separate NARA sheets for each photo. I've added my thoughts tot he KWL sheet and uploaded my NARA sheets. I like Joe's idea about just uploading revised copies as we add to them.

Here's a great website with a transcribed newspaper article about the wreck: ILGenWeb

Rob, should I add to your NARA sheets or upload my own versions? (Joe)

Unless you have a different idea, I think we could just keep going like we are with the KWL worksheet; so just add yours to mine and then upload it as a new draft. (Rob)

Hey guys! Nice work on last week's project! Sorry I am a little slow to start, I had a ton of stuff going on yesterday. You guys are off to a great start! I like the idea of adding on, I'm all about efficiency! I will be getting started right now! (Julie)

Ok, here are some additions to the NARA worksheets.

The KWL worksheet looks great! I should have tried to get to it first again, now I feel like the slacker! I'll try to think of something, you guys did such a great job. (Julie)

I only had a few things I could think of to add to the KWL chart, here's the draft. (Julie)

Guys, while completing this assignment, I had a question about the logistics of using a KWL chart and a photo with students. Would you have students complete the KWL before looking at the pic and then see how many questions can be answered once they view the photo? (Joe)

I've added some content

Joe- Maybe it could be like three stages. You could use it before as long as the students knew something about the topic, then give them the picture and have them add more, then look up background info. I don't know, it's a thought! (Julie)

Joe - I'd use the KWL chart in stages also. Start with a brief intro to the topic of study, then have the students fill-out the worksheet with their pre-knowledge and existing questions. Next, do the analysis of the photos. Finally, complete the research and finalize the worksheet's information. (Rob)

It looks like we've produced another great set of data for this week's project. Do you both think we're ready to list this as a final draft, or have we missed anything? (Rob)

Looks great. Here are the final postings, as long as everyone agrees. If not let me know! (Julie)

Looks good. Thanks for your responses to my question! (joe)
